Countdown to Cataclysm: Elemental Invasion Phase 2 Live

With practically less than a month before Deathwing starts flexing his wings to strike terror throughout World of Warcraft, the 2nd phase of the Elemental Invasion leading to the Cataclysm expansion has just went live on servers today. Expect more anomalies going around your hometown, more or the Earthen Ring, more of the elementals, and your first contact with Deathwing's dragonflight.

The Earthen Ring continues to sense that something big is going to happen between the Elemental Plane and Azeroth. Now that faction leaders are somehow aware of the Twilight Cult's devious plans, they're taking all necessary precautions in an attempt to learn more about the quakes and elementals wrecking havoc around the planet and to ultimately subdue them while there's still time.

Countdown to Cataclysm: Druid Mushroom Power

Today we'll be discussing the Druid's new ability, Wild Mushroom. It's probably the butt of all jokes among Druids eversince it was announced for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm several months ago with players using the drug-related references on this new skill, but it's not all fun and games as this bad boy can turn the tide in certain PvE situations, and mostly in PvP situations.

So what is Wild Mushroom?

Countdown to Cataclysm: Elemental Invasion in Azeroth

Along with the Prophecy of Doom questline, we now face another problem as the whole of Azeroth including the Outlands braces itself for the ascension of the Twilight Cult and the Elementals. Welcome to the 2nd part of the first phase on the road to the Cataclysm, the Elemental Invasion.

Several anomalies within the elemental planes have been disrupting the ebb and flow of life around Azeroth as elemental rifts begin to open everywhere. With these portals, relentless armies of elementals march to strike terror to the denizens of the an already battleworn world. No race, creature, nor faction is safe from them, heck even the Undead Scourge is getting attacked! The Earthen Ring, a group of wise Shamans, have taken notice of this disturbance and are not thinking twice in acquiring help from faction champions.

Countdown to Cataclysm: Prophecies of Doom and the Infiltration Questline

Azeroth is in a mess! After the valiant triumph over the Lich King and the Undead Scourge, champions from Horde and Alliance faction alike uncover an enemy which they thought to have been vanquished for years in this new questline.

Cataclysm Raid: Cho'gall and the Bastion of Twilight

Asides from PvP and Gearing, Raiding has to be the very sole reason why us World of Warcraft players keep on playing the game over and over from 9pm to 12mn (or even longer). And with the new raids coming this Cataclysm, there's no doubt that players will find a way to finish work early, come home from school and forget about real social life, or just clear out 3 nights just to squeeze in some overtime work for raids, come on, this has got to be you!

From Frost to Flames: Dungeons and Raiding in Cataclysm

We've all heard and experienced what raiding will be like by the time World of Warcraft Cataclysm arrives through the implemented Flexible Raid System, but Blizzard has unveiled a little more of what we can expect from raids and then some for new and classic dungeons in the Dungeon and Raids Panel last BlizzCon.

Let's start with our dungeons:

The addition of Heroic: Deadmines and Heroic: Shadowfang Keep relives classic instances to end game players who wants further content in their (ancient) favorite dungeons. The addition of end game quests will definitely draw attention from players who'd always want a challenge or a piece of World of Warcraft lore.
